'Cross Shoot' and Flea Market at Mississinewa July 14

Mississinewa Lake is hosting an outdoor equipment flea market on July 14 .The flea market runs from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Vendors and artisans will have handmade items and equipment for camping, hunting and more for sale.
Vendor permits cost $50, or $20 for vendors who are camping overnight on the property. One vehicle per vendor will receive free park admission for the day.
Set-up will begin at 6:30 a.m. Tear down should be finished by 4 p.m. Vendors must bring their own canopy, seating and tables. A free "cross shoot," a youth target-shooting event, will also be held July 14 at Mississinewa's Miami State Recreation Area at 1
p.m. A map to the location will be available at the front gate.
In a cross shoot, competitors shoot a shotgun at targets with a center cross mark.
Participants must be 18 or younger. They are not required to have shooting experience. A firearms safety session will be held for all participants before they can handle firearms. Safety glasses and hearing protection will be provided.
Advance registration is not required. Camping reservations can be made at Camp.IN.gov or 866-622-6746.
