River-Friendly Farmers to be Honored Wednesday

The public is invited to attend the River-Friendly Farmer Awards Ceremony - sponsored by Indiana Farm Bureau, the Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts along with the 92 Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Indiana - at 1 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 4-H Exhibit Hall Auditorium, 2nd floor, in Indianapolis.
A total of 36 award winners and their families will be honored by Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch; Amie Sites, Brownfield Radio Network; Randy Kron, president, Indiana Farm Bureau; Jerry Raynor, state conservationist, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service; and Jamie Scott, president, Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts,

River Friendly Farmer recipients attending this year's ceremony are from the following counties: Adams, Cass, Clay, Decatur, Dubois, Fayette, Gibson, Hamilton, Hendricks, Howard, Huntington, Jackson, Jay, Jefferson, Knox, Kosciusko, Marion, Miami, Posey, Putnam, Scott, St. Joseph, Starke, Steuben, Tippecanoe, Vanderburgh, Wabash, Wayne, Washington, Wells, White, and Whitley.
